Diving Mabul

Hi we have now done 10 dives on Mabul.

Today is our last day of diving. We will have knocked up 39 brilliant dives on this trip.
The diving has been excellent. Apart from problems in aquiring dive permits for Sipadan, the neighbouring Island. We managed to dive Sipadan yesterday on other people's permits!

We have seen all sorts of crazy fish life. Special things here are Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Pigmy Seahorse 1cm and speckled pink in colour, and Spanish Dancer NudiBranch (sea slug) it is about 40cm long in comparison to the usual 4cm long! The night diving has been great fun also. Last night we had a very rough journey back with waves flowing over the front of the boat, items flying everywhere. There were electrical storms and the sky was pitch black and filled with beautiful stars. It was a very cool experience. A lot of the things to see hear are small so we have got Chris a Magnifying glass so he can see them too!. He is getting on you know!

We have a very young puppy living under our chalet,he does have fleas and is a bit manky but he is very cute. On day one he had no energy to do anything. So we have fed him up and watered him and given him lots of cuddles. Chris wasn't so happy the other night when he slipped on his poo and nearly fell down! Hee hee

Today is our last day of diving. We will have knocked up 39 brilliant dives on this trip.Next we head for the rainforests in the Danum Valley, Sabah.
Where we will search for Orangutans, elephants, crocs, Monkeys, Insects, flowers and the leeches will find us aparently!
We fly back to the UK 19th Feb arriving at 19.35pm, terminal 3 flight TG916.
